I am a licensed educational psychologist with a vast background with learning disabilities, ADHD, sensory integration and social emotional functioning. As a former school psychologist and coordination of psychological services in the school settings, I conduct psychological evaluations. My experience and knowledge base also encompasses 504/learning plans, Individual Education Plans (IEPS) and the laws and educational regulations school districts must follow.
My Experience
I have been working with children, individuals and families since 1990 in various settings. I started my career teaching. After ten years, I became a school counselor working with staff and families to ensure the success of students in challenging situations. Seven years later, I became a school psychologist focusing on student assessment, special education and specific learning needs. I have also held coordinator positions at the district level in the area of mental health. I have been in private practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Educational Psychologist for twelve years. In addition to providing individual and family therapy, I facilitate group therapy with children, adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, self-confidence and motivation.
